Steam cleaners come in various sizes and until recently their operating time was limited by the volume of water they could hold. However, the Auto-Fill systems have an additional water container, a water level sensor and a pump. When the water in the boiler drops below a certain level, the pump is turned on to refill the boiler. At any time the container can be refilled without the need to depressurise and open a hot boiler.
